We all know that we should take a step back and learn more when we hit a stumbling block, but it is so hard to do. It can be very difficult to accept new knowledge, which is what is needed when something is working against you.

Especially if you've been working on something for some time and you think you're close to the finish line , but as soon as you find out that there's another piece of the puzzle missing, and your whole project could fall apart! You will want to understand what to do before continuing on with what you were doing before.

Very recently I made a new discovery about the thyroid gland and how it stops a lot of women from losing weight. The thing is it is possible to have a very slow thyroid and not know it, because it is possible to connect symptoms like fatigue, loss of hair and sleepless night to something else.

This was the situation I found myself, a few weeks ago. I was doing everything right but not losing weight, something in my body was working against all the effort I was putting in. I needed to know what else to do, with what is working against me.

When things are not going the way you want, you don’t have joy. And you are likely to feel discouraged, depressed and tired of trying. Until you deal with the root of the issue, you will be going in circles. It is possible to deal with your stumbling block by working against the clock!


Take a step back, find out what you do not know

Ask yourself questions to find out more about your situation. 

  1. What else am I missing?
  2. What do I need to learn about?
  3. How can I stop myself from going in circles?
  4. Who can I talk to?

It is very commonly said that there are three kinds of knowledge any person can possess, what you know, what you don’t know, and what you don’t know you don’t know.

Right here, I can tell you, whatever is working against you, you don’t know you don’t know. Just like me, you may be doing all the right things and experience something working against you.

Allowing yourself to accept new knowledge can be very difficult most times. In my experience you have to trust this unknown knowledge, apply it to your situation and wait to see if it works. After all you have nothing to lose, if it works that’s great, if it doesn’t well you have nothing to loose.


Deal with your stumbling block by working against the clock.

You may have heard it over and over, no one can build your life for you, you have to take responsibility for what you are creating with your life. You have to consciously seek for things that will help you and avoid blocks or limitations that stop you.

Doing nothing about how your life turns out is not an option, for someone that wants to live, love and lead in life. Fight back, do whatever you need to do to make your bad feeling go away. Decide to work against the clock if possible, which means be ready to work all day and all night.

It's not about being in a hurry, but working as fast as possible to ensure that you maximize your seasons while doing the right thingWhen you go into fight mode, you have accepted that there is more to be done. As you open your mind to this possibility, you will begin to attract information and knowledge about solutions that would help you.

Stop doing what you have always done that is not working. You will know this when you find yourself in a vicious circle, which means what ever your doing is working against you. It is time to try something else.

Working against the clock will help you deal with your stumbling block, or something working against you, by taking a step back and learning more about what's going on in order to move forward again.

So next time if something happens that you don't understand, instead of getting frustrated or giving up entirely on a positive outcome, you can put a plan in place for dealing with it effectively.
