Most people are doing the same thing every day, but they are not getting out of their comfort zones. We all know that you have to do something different if you want a different result, but it can be hard to take action when things get tough and look impossible.
Sometimes you may be struggling to step out of your comfort zone because you believe where you are in the best place you could be, you can’t envision yourself having better. You stay put because you don’t want to lose your current benefits.
I was born an introvert and naturally, that made me a laid-back person. I like to be a “behind the scenes” kind of person, only speaking up when asked. If this is you, we are alike…
This should not be a bother, right? Well not true, because you lose out on so many things. You don’t get the things you qualify for; you live a life below your potential.
Whose fault, is it then?
I don’t know…
But this is what I know.
It’s not what you are that holds you back, but it’s what you think you are. You cannot always control circumstances, but you can always control your thoughts. And nothing changes except you take action.
If you are wondering why you have not changed after so many years, and you are jealous when you see another person that is less, you have tried so many times, doing all that is required of you, still, you don’t have financial growth, same struggle, and difficulties, then you might need help to come out of your comfort zone.
Well, in this blog post I like to share
- What happens when you move out of your comfort zone.
- 3 questions and requirements to help you get out of your comfort zone
- 3 requirements for making progress in anything you do

This is what happens when you move out of your comfort zone.
When you try something you never thought of or done before, you will become a champion, a person who has defeated or surpassed all rivals in a competition, a winner and victor over your previous conditioning. You will have a great feeling of conviction
When you take a risk, you are investing in your life. You will be encouraged to conceive what you believe and accept what you hear. This means you can change your thoughts. But imagine if you do not get out of your comfort zone, you will never know what else is possible.
Stepping out of your comfort zone is the first step in the process or journey towards success and personal growth. It’s an action or challenge that puts you to the test. It might mean you have to confront something, mostly your fears and doubts.
There is a mindset and attitude that gets you past threatening setbacks. It’s called courage (strength in the face of pain or grief). Courage is the ability to do something that frightens one.
The feeling and the mindset that helps you overcome disgrace, fear, and doubt will increase. Another thing that happens when you come out of your comfort zone is, you increase in confidence. Confidence is a feeling of self-assurance, arising from one’s appreciation of one’s abilities or qualities.
You can be physically capable and intellectually motivated but can be internally paralyzed. Mindset is everything.
If you’re in your comfort zone, you are not doing what you want to do. You are tolerating what you don’t like. You are too afraid to try something else. And if you are in your comfort zone, you’re not maximizing your potential.
No matter what you are going through, no matter what others around you are saying, no matter the anger you feel in your heart, if you don’t do anything different, you cannot see a different result.
Believing you deserve it is the first step to success. This is an attitude and a principle that means that you care about yourself. Don’t hold yourself back. As a certified mindset coach, I will like to help you. Book a free strategy call with me.
- What do you want to do?
- What do you want to start?
- What are you tolerating?
Engage in the marketplace (start a business). Use your gift (or passion). Write a book. Begin a new career. Any of these and more are possible, but outside your comfort zone.
3 questions and requirements to help you get out of your comfort zone

There are a few questions that overwhelm you when you seek to step out and get out of your comfort zone. Because you cannot change what you tolerate, you are internally motivated to ask…
Where do I start? What can I do with my passion? When is the right time to start the project?
Let’s consider “the’ what, why, and how steps, to move you from a state of passion onto fulfilling purpose and stepping confidently into your conviction zone.
If you are tired of tolerating your current experiences in life and business, and you are ready to get out of your comfort zone so that you can get a life that you want focused on your inner intuition, then this article is for you.
Are you ready to step up in your life and business, and get out of your comfort zone?
Comfort is a beautiful place to be in and no one wants to be disturbed when they are in comfort. Unfortunately, a human life journey to success is not always smooth, and just as with every good thing, there is always a corresponding discomfort.
No one wants to naturally come out of a comfort zone, we all will need a push at one point or another. But because conviction is what we all need and strive for consciously or unconsciously, you and I have to make a difficult and intentional decision every day, to get out of our comfort zone.
Conviction is a realization of identity and comfort is a realization of rest. I don’t know about you, but if you ask me to choose between rest and identity, I will choose freedom first.
You will always have an inner conscience that will always nudge you towards your real identity. And most recently I have discovered that in your identity is freedom and multiplied peace and grace.
The question you may be asking now is where do I begin to choose identity?
Well, below are 3 questions can help you choose and get out of your comfort zone.
Who am I?
This is the first question to ask.
You need to know who you are if you want to find your passion in life because your passion is your identity and it is a driving force that will help you unveil your purpose.
To get a clear view of who you are and what you want to accomplish in life, find out what you enjoy doing, how it makes you feel, and the goals you desire to achieve in life.
Discovering your sense of destiny will change your life forever, because knowing who you are, will help you step up into your God-given conviction in life or business.
Why am I here?
This is the second question to ask.
Whenever you ask the question of WHY you are interested in knowing the details of what can keep you going for a longer time. You are about to discover your inner drive.
Your why is your motivation to go far and far. It is a reason that you always feel in your inner heart, and it could be a word or feeling, but can be recognized because it would not go away, even after a long time.
You might discover that there are problems you can solve for some people or there are clients you can help. And you know the details of their problem or a solution to their pain. Something within you drives you and motivates you, to get out of your comfort zone, because it seems that if you do not help them, no one else is stepping up to.
This is the meaning that you see for your life and subconsciously you will start to follow along with that path of reason.
When you discover your WHY, you will begin to take action based on instinct, and things that light you up are often described by you and others as AHA moments.
What is most important to me?
This third question leads you to uncover your purpose in life.
When you know what is most important to you, you will finally get over the need to please others or the need to be perfect. And until you do this, you may never get past distraction or rise in your negative emotions.
This is so because your most important desire is what you really want, not knowing what this is will increase your stress hormones.
You must believe that you are capable of having your desire before you can build your confidence and belief helps you all the way. You will intentionally step into the mindset of someone that already has what you want.

3 requirements for making progress in anything YOU do
In the above section, we have talked about three questions that will help you get out of your comfort zone but asking yourself these three questions are not sufficient. You must take action towards your conviction for you to see any progress. This means that there has to be some kind of motion.
Exhibiting authenticity and adaptability in challenging circumstances are the hallmarks of confidence.
Confidence is knowing I can cope and act as I intend to see. It is trusting that I will succeed in what I am engaged in and so I am motivated to show up as my best self and do a good job.
There are many areas in our lives that we need to build confidence in, areas such as skills, social interactions, and in ourselves.
- What are you building in your life right now?
- How are you making progress?
- Are you still in your comfort zone?
What you are building depends on what you’re focusing on, and so many people are focusing on the wrong things. If you are one of them I encourage you to refocus, start today to take notice of your thoughts.
If you start making progress or find out how you can make progress, you will discover that there are certain requirements to bring this to play.
Making progress means you are dealing with obstacles and setbacks on your path. The road to success as with any other road can be full of unknowns. You must deal with obstacles and setbacks on your path to cross over to the other side.

Things to do to get out of your comfort zone.
What are the steps to take? How do you come out of a comfort zone, trying something you’ve never done before? Whether socially, financially at your work, or in a relationship. How do you come out of what you have used to?
You need to clarify the action that you need to take to get you to where you are headed. And the three requirements that can help you make this progress are
- Take Action
- Be Committed
- Stay Focused
You need commitment because the human brain will always react to change. The brain is used to doing things is setting away but when you are about to add something to it, there will be resistance. So, committing will help you stay on course, and will help you focus on what you need.
Every human body is built to either avoid pain or gain pleasure. Progress means taking risks and, but your brain will try to do whatever it can to avoid risk.

Stepping out of your comfort zone requires that you focus on productivity, people skill, increased connection, and how you can make a greater impact with someone other than you.
Productivity is important because there will always be obstacles that will want to stop you, but you must decide to keep going. Your why will keep you going and from mistakes or help you learn from your mistakes.
Your excuse of lack of resources or no time is not true because anybody can become anything with the right mindset or said another way, all things are possible if you believe
If you want to change your life for the better, if you want to achieve something big in this world, then the first thing is to forget about what others say about yourself and start believing in yourself.
Start seeing yourself as a winner! Start seeing yourself as someone who deserves success! Start living by new rules – YOUR rules! And remember one important rule: Your attitude determines everything else!
