Live is full of ups and downs. Sometimes our worst stressors in life is the fear of the unknown, hence it is important to learn how to overcome fear in life.
Not knowing what tomorrow holds and not knowing where your path leads whether to good or bad is an emotion known as fear. Fear is a very natural emotion, but it can get in the way of you living your life. Fear will make you avoid certain situations and people.
It makes you feel like something bad is going to happen if you try something new or different. You might even find yourself avoiding things that are actually good for you because of fear. If you look around you there is always something or someone to be afraid of. Since this is a common challenge that everyone has almost all the time, there has to be a way to nip fear in the bud so that you can be all you want to be.
Overtime I have come to trust that there is someone looking out for me and I need to stay strong in my heart, because this too will pass. There is an anonymous definition of fear as false expectation appearing real. I want to hold on to that as true, and you too should.
Your brain is very good at scanning for threats even when there are none, because that’s the way it has been programmed.
If you have been used to having bad things happen to you in the past, whenever there is a little change from your norm, it causes panic in your brain. So your brain sets itself ready for an attack, which reveals the emotion fear.

How do you react to situations that frighten you?
There is the flight or fight reactions that our brain is designed to respond with, when something scary faces us.
Your brain is designed for you to stimulate it, not on its own. And the best way to activate positive thoughts in your brain is to renew your mind daily.
When you form the habit of setting daily intentions to renew your mind daily, you will have positive updated information that your brain can rely on.
Then if you notice a negative expectation, you can change it. You see, the thing about expectations is that it always falls short, mostly because there are no equal days.
Every day has its own uniqueness. If you had built in your brain expectations of fear from a previous experience and you are comparing that expectation with what you will have in a future experience then, you might be missing it.
Many situations in life leave us disappointed, but with the right mindset and allowing for time, we always rise up above the flooding waters. When this happens it feels like a burden has been lifted from our shoulders.
I have come to realize that the more fear I overcome, the better I have become, because from each experience I learn what works and what doesn’t.
Plan to grow your mind daily

If you grow your mind consciously, you give yourself a chance to overcome fear. Your brain discovers new ways to meet your need, instead of holding on to old threats.
You develop inner strength to keep going and see things to the end. When you grow, you’re building up positive neurons that will come to your rescue when you are in a fearful situation.
The more you understand yourself, you will discover that fear comes form you and not the experiences that you have. You either fail or succeed based on how you respond to what happens to you.
As a coach, I help my clients overcome threats from their past that keeps coming again because until you let go of your limiting beliefs you are unlikely going to create a new brain pathway. Even though some things you fear might happen, it is more important to know that you can still control how it makes you feel.
