Who do you inquire from or consult when you are in trouble? Do you need a Christian life coach? What do you look for before a consultation? Well, depending on the kind of help you need, you most certainly want to seek an expert, for a coaching consultation.
You can’t make any progress in your life, if you don’t know where to start. The best way to get started then, is by getting professional advice from a qualified coach or mentor, because it will give you the insight and tools that you need in order to achieve your goals, no matter how big they are.
Funny then how so many people don’t consciously seek advice or help from someone that understands their challenge and the process it takes to overcome.
With so much bias in our world, isn’t it possible that some experts might be elusive of the experiences that their clients seek them for. I think this is possible that’s why I believe that anybody that is seeking for professional help, should ask for references and proofs.
When I look for a mentor, I am looking for someone whose results align with the words that they say. But if you do not know what you are looking for in the first place, you will not know when you find it.
3 questions to ask before seeking a consult.
- What do you want?
- What testimony are you seeking?
- What change would you like to see?
Above are 3 questions that you can start with. You must be able to answer these questions before you start seeking or looking for consultation from anyone.
If you ask around, you will know a person or two that was very disappointed and left worst of after seeking an expert for advice. When you fall prey like this, you will remain distressed and empty for a while. Some people even blame themselves for their failures, and become discouraged to even try anything else.
Who you seek for a consult is very important because it could wait years and years of your time, feeling bad for yourself, when the reality, is you were only seeing things from one perspective?
And that perspective does not connect to you or your experience. Of which you should have done something different, if you had known
4 ways to know you had a great consult
- You will experience a light bulb moment. Suddenly there will be something like a light at the end of a dark tunnel.
- You will feel enlarged and an increase in confidence, something within you swells with joy that leads you to gratitude for who you are and all that you have.
- You will feel that there is freedom soon, your shoulders suddenly will feel less heavy like a load was just dropped.
- Suddenly there will be an invisible strength to do what you are expected to do, because you will now have new expectations.

You have been given responsibility of your life. You alone have the right to choose, who and what you give access to. No matter how good or nice other people want to be with you, you still have to decide to seek peace, greatness and many more goodness.
