If you have ever been in a situation where your mind is filled with negative thoughts, then you know how much it can affect your life. Negative thoughts are the things that make us feel uncomfortable and unhappy. In this blog post, I want to help you realize that those negative thoughts do not really exist, they just appear to be real because we don't understand them.
When things don’t go the way, we expect we presume that something is wrong. Then our brain starts offering us reasons of why that may have happened. Do you know why negative thoughts come to your mind?
If you are not a open minded person, you will struggle with information and experiences that you have never heard about or seen. And these struggles are likely going to develop negative thoughts in your mind, because your brain is used to a unique neuron pathway and anything new is seen as a threat.
You think negative thoughts when you are focusing on you, and when you focus on yourself you judge other people’s actions based on your perspective and preconceived idea.
When you have never seen anything like that happen before, or when you experience something different from your expectation, your brain switches to negative thinking or negative thoughts.
So instead of asking the question why, and wandering about who is responsible, it will benefit you to learn how to think differently.
How to stop thinking negative thoughts.

Sometimes the reason we are so messed up in our thoughts is because we listen to so many knowledge experts, who uniquely have different truth.
This challenge combined with everything we understand about the brain, makes it impossible to stop negative thoughts from dominating our mind, without intentional effort from our conscious mind.
In his book Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill talked about the subconscious mind and that you must grow your subconscious mind to align with your conscious mind. I think this is one reason why you should always invest in yourself, so that you can expand your knowledge of what you want in life and how your desire can be realized.
Focus on what is easier to understand and accept that your expectation does not have to happen, to get the intended result that you seek. Focus on only positive things. It might require you to form good habits and impulses that your mind can concentrate on.
If you can stop wrong knowledge from coming to your mind, then you can control or stop negative thoughts. And if your negative thoughts were as a result of a conversation you had with your spouse or family, then you must learn how to communicate with intention
Controlling your Negative thoughts require faith.
You can take control of your thoughts, and you want to do this because your peace and freedom in life depends on it, but you need patience and faith to change your subconscious mind first. It is through faith that you can reprogram your brain to change its normal setting (the status quo).
It takes time to master faith and voluntarily influence your mind to focus on positive thoughts like faith, hope, joy, peace, desire, love, enthusiasm, romance instead of feeding on negative thoughts of fear, envy, hate, anger, revenge, greed. But unfortunately if you do not believe in a higher power you are exposed to full control of negative thoughts.

It's time for you to learn how to control your mind and emotion, so that you can live a happier life, and be more successful at everything you do. Your emotions can be mastered by use. If you believe in God, you can take control of your negative emotions through prayer, because prayer is believing that God can change your thoughts based on what you know about him.
